Who We Are
The K.L.P.A. represents the growth of Pickleball in the Kawartha Lakes.
It started out as a vision of bringing local communities of pickleball groups in the Kawartha Lakes Region to form a single voice. Our voice has now grown to more than three hundred players and is continuously growing.
This is a community of like minded individuals who strive to see health and wellness opportunities improve within the City of Kawartha Lakes municipality. Playing the game of Pickleball is one way to accomplish that goal.
The vision is to facilitate the expansion of Pickleball for all ages, levels and abilities in the City of Kawartha Lakes by creating and cultivating an environment that promotes enjoyment, health and social engagement.

Mission Statement
Our primary goal is to represent and be the voice of pickleball players in the City of Kawartha Lakes (C0KL), the main liaison with the CoKL and pickleball governing bodies, the Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) and the Pickleball Ontario Association (POA) and other sports associations and clubs.
Our mission is to:

Facilitate the development of pickleball for all ages, skill levels and abilities in the CoKL by cultivating a fair environment that promotes enjoyment, health and social engagement without discrimination.

Source new pickleball venues to offer players more choices with multiple locations and sessions as the popularity of this game grows.

Universally promote and advocate the recognition of pickleball as a sport.

Membership Fees:
Membership in the KLPA is $30 annually;
- $10 is retained by the KLPA - Kawartha Lakes Pickleball Association
- $10 goes to POA - Pickleball Ontario Association
- $10 goes to PCO - Pickleball Canada Organization
