LADDER PLAY
The object of Ladder play is to play with others who are of a similar skill level or calibre.
Ladder begins with a list of up to 30 players.
Ladder consists of a weekly session over 10+/- weeks.
Each week, players are put into groups of 4 or 5 players per rung on the ladder (ie: per court).
Each court plays a round-robin or double round-robin:
-
with 4 players, thats either 3 games or 6 games.
-
with 5 players, thats either 4 games or 8 games.
-
games are scored to either a hard 12 or 16.
Scores are recorded after each game.

Top scoring player moves up a rung.
Low scoring player moves down a rung
The object is to improve ones game and work your way up the ladder.
LEX Ladder registration happens at the beginning of the LEX play season and then various times each year.
KLPA Members are notified of Ladder registration via email.
